Yoshi Starshield is a Yoshi with alien technology that allows him to copy numerous characters and use a form relating to that character. For reasons unknown to him and his allies, multiple characters from multiple groups have referred to him as the chosen.

Powers & Abilities

In his base form, Yoshi's abilities revolve around his tongue and amazing jumping ability. Though lacking in the special attack department, Yoshi's speed allows him to hit and run, while being immune to any Electric-type moves that can outspeed him, thanks to his Dragon/Ground typing. However, he is inferior to the majority of hit and run characters, as his bulk is lower than theirs, resulting in this being his weakest form.

Despite the meager title he holds in his normal form, Yoshi is able to dawn alien technology to give himself an armor, dubbed the Starshield armor. His Starshield armor provides extra bulk, a special and physical attack boost, more speed, the ability to fly via a jetpack, alien weaponry, and the unique ability to copy other characters and turn into them, via a color and shape redesign. This allows him to avoid his weaknesses and attack with STAB and super-effectivity with ease.
